Built by Nurses, for Nurses
Healing House for Nurses
A supportive space for aspiring nurses, nurses, SRNA, and NP students. Building ongoing support to navigate through career growth, life challenges, and applications or exam challenges.
Creating a true nursing community that you can rely on!

THALIA HERNANDEZ, CRNA, DNP

As a first-generation, low-income Latina and former teen mom, I know what it’s like to pursue a nursing career without a roadmap or a safety net. I navigated nursing school and graduate education while pregnant and parenting, and I saw how little support exists for nurses in these spaces. Hence, surged the need to want to give back and help other peers. My main goal with this page is to make it easier for SRNAs and CRNAs to find support groups and helpful resources in one place.
My Socials:
MARCELA DOS SANTOS, DNP-FNP

First-generation Latina, low-income background and a non-traditional career changer, I pursued my RN-MSN in my late twenties. Completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice in my late thirties, all while pregnant throughout my third year. My DNP project focused on teaching resiliency and mindset to nursing students, inspired by the lack of mental health support, especially for pregnant and non-traditional students like myself. You’re not alone, let’s build resilience and thrive together.
